We're on a nice losing streak right now, I'm not entirely sure what their deal is.

Generally, it's either hit or miss with them. They're either on a winning streak or they decide to lose 3-4 at a time - never Win, lose, win, lose.

Luckily for us, our pitchers are having the worst games of their careers right now.
I'm not a Joba Chamberlain fan by all means and his 1-4 goes to show why I'm not. Verlander is holding on by a thread at 9-9 and Sanchez, as usual, is backpacking the pitching team.

We can get runs, as proven, but our pitching team is bringing us down.

I wouldn't worry too much. Verlander just turns it on in the post-season. He finds that extra switch and is absolutely near un-hittable when he finds that groove.

My ALCS pick all year has been Detroit vs Oakland in what I think would go 7 games. And I honestly favor Detroit in a series against them, not just because of the past 2 series, but their hitting is a little more timely than Oakland's. It's weird though, Oakland has no problem with the Angels and yet they struggle with Detroit. Yet, the Angels are very successful against Detroit. Then throw in the Orioles who have been beating the Angels with regularity. It is going to be incredibly interesting to see how the playoffs shake out. Honestly, I'm confident Oakland can beat anyone from the NL, and I think their only real threat is Detroit.

Granted, Baltimore and the Angels could beat Oakland in a series, but I'd feel confident in Oakland being able to handle them. I wouldn't be confident vs Detroit.

I too have Detroit vs Oakland picked.

I find it highly strange how we can go from beating teams like Baltimore and NY to losing against Arizona, lol. I'm super excited to see how we play vs Toronto, that to me will determine how we end up.

A Tigers fan! Good man. What does everyone think of the big trades today? Not sure if I'm missing a big one but I know of the Price-Smyly/Jackson trade and the Cespedes-Lester trade.

I have mixed feelings about the Price trade for the Tigers

Detroit born and raised, lol.

The trades for the most part didn't surprise me.. However, the amount of trading Boston agree'd to was incredible.

Orioles have been playing solid ball recently. I always love playoff races in any sport.

Spring Training is close. I think the astros have a good chance of being around .500 this year.
