main or range tank

A while ago I quit runescape and had passed on my main to a friend. Now it comes to me having free time currently, and I was wondering if I should make a Main or a Range Tank.

This account was created about a day ago, and he currently has 44 Fishing, 42 Cooking, 42 Woodcut, 40 Firemaking, 5 Thieving, and 30 range. Nothing else besides some HP levels from the range levels I gained, meaning 1 attack, 1 strength, 1 defense, 1 prayer, 1 magic, and 1 summoning.

If I had already experienced what it was like to have a main (he was lvl 111), am I better off to just get 99 range and 99 defense to make money off killing in godwars, then resume skilling and ignore the time needed for the other combat skills? Or stick with a main again? Not sure which I will find more fun, maybe less of a struggle on the tank ranger?

I'm guessing more of you have experience with mains, lol.

 

How much time are you willing to commit to playing runescape? If a lot, I would go
with making a main if you're purely planning to recreate your old main. Otherwise,
I would create a tank and have a little fun with it. But remember, there's only so
much you can do for it. Good luck.

 

If you want to pk a lot then go with a tank, if not i suggest going with a main

i personally like mains better so its up to want you want to do

 

You can do everything a main can do with a tank.
