Main Got Black Marks For Macroing - On Another Account?

Okay, last week I left for a mission trip with my youth group for a week. The day before I left I literally macroed Yew cutting 24 hours straight. I was planning to drop trade them that night cause I was pretty sure my account would get banned. I never did get the chance to do that though.

So earlier today I get back and I try to log into my account. And sure enough it was banned. I was disappointed, but I didn't really let it bother me. It was just a nooby lvl 3. Then I did some more stuff and came back to Runescape later. I went to log into my MAIN and it said it was banned.

I go to the 'appeal an offense' section to find out that it was banned for macroing?! Fortunately it's not a permanent ban but still I've had 0 black marks since 2005. (Now I'm 'in the green zone'), so it's not too bad.

This is the message they sent me.

"This account has been banned as it has funded another of your accounts used for macroing.

Transferring items between accounts you own is in itself breaking Rule 8, regardless of how they were obtained.

We have confirmed beyond doubt that this occurred, via our detailed records of in-game activity.

You have been deemed to have been in complete control at the time of the incident. "



Well, there's my life story. (JKJK), I'm just wondering if this was due to drop-trading in the party room or maybe for multi-logging in to trade my bot a woodcut axe. Jagex's grammer was not completely understandable. I don't know what they mean by "It has funded"...


Anyways I'm just rambling now. Please comment.

It doesn't say. It just says that i'm "In the green zone"... So it can't be too bad.

...you admit to it right here. Don't tell me you don't know the the word funded means... You funded/supplied your macroer with items from your main. You transferred items between accounts. They had the definite right to ban you for Rule 8.

Funded means gave money to, or in your case the axe you gave your autoer. That's why you got the message.

its an auto bann.. u should have used bounty.. ive heard of a few people being banned because the party room.

I autoed at 3 lvl accounts and got 10 blackmarks to my 74 lvl main..
