Magic Xp: Soul Wars Vs High Alch Xp!

What do you prefer? Soul wars or High Alching.

I've got a few accs with high mage but its proven that soul wars is NOT as fast but cost effective.

I have a hybrid with 67 mage atm. I calculated it and it will take only 1,354 zeals till 94 magic.

You can recieve 9 zeals an hour. 9 x 8(hours a day)=72 a day. 1,354/72(zeal)= 18 days for 94 magic. So its 2 weeks and 4 days and no money is involved.

With High alch it will take 113k high alchs till 94: you can high alch about 1,100 an hour 102 hours of high alching. 102/8 hours a day = 12.7 days of alching. So basically a week and 5 days. Not counting the time to get the money(legally) or just buy 20-30 mill.




WHICH WOULD YOU PREFER?

 

You could alch into the 80's and then use zeal, that way the zeal are worth more exp and you might (I don't know for sure if you will) get more exp on average an hour.

 

Alching is much faster than soulwars.

 

Either way just bot it, 12+ hours a day and it will be done in no time.

How the hell are you getting 9 zeals an hour?

If you're going to use math to illustrate something, at least use correct values.

 

Join a sw clan that get 3 zeals a game which is 9 zeal in just over an hour.

 

2.6 games an hour maximum is a lot less than 3.0 games an hour when you are considering a cross section of 144 hours.

Assuming the OP's other values were correct, using the number "almost 3" instead of 2.6 (the maximum amount of games that can be played in an hour) will put his results off by 19.2 hours, which is a substantial amount.

He has also assumed that the person will win the game every time.

 

Botting you will average 5zeal an hour if you are lucky.

 

Alching is 75k xp/hr usually, and costs ~15-30m.
Soul Wars w/ fighting players(melee) or bandaging players is AT MOST 63k xp/hr which is if you were 99 magic and getting 7 zeal/hr.

Most of the time you get 4/hr.

 

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've never had much luck botting soul wars, I get crappy teams or DC all the time.

I'd say if you have the cash, alch.

This. Only an idiot would use it on magic. Yur calculations are also wrong. It's on average 4 zeal/h. So 338.5 hours, which is 42 days for you. Alching, on the other hand, is 1.1k alches/h. So 103 hours of alching, which will equal 13 days. In the 29 day leeway (232 hours) you can make 300k/h, so you'll make back 70mil. So, which is better? Soulwars in 42 days, no cash involved. Or high alching with money making (equals 42 days) and making 70mil on the way?

 

High alching, even with an autoclicker, is most likely less of a ban rate. Jagex is still hitting SW like crazy. >.<

Just set up an auto clicker (there's one in the Runescape Cheating - Programs section) at 1.6 seconds per click, and camp your guy in w2 or w44 Soul Wars bank.

 

With nats as low as they are it's even possible to make money alching.

I don't see how Soul Wars can be an alternative to that.

 

It's only slower at lower levels, but at 90+ it's way faster to SW

 

Not to be rude or anything, but do you have any proof they're hitting SW like crazy?

 

Alching, although both ways aren't that great for magic exp. Buy a stunner bot or one that does MTA for best exp rates.
