Magic and Defence

I'm making a Mage account and I'm trying to figure out what I should get It's defence level to, should I go for 40, 50, or 70. All extra advice is appreciated.

 

If its a mage tanker then 40.

mage tankers are garbage... it's just a friggen joke. This late into the game you shouldn't even be making new accounts, rs is over.

Agree with owain, mage pure aren't worth making.

If you want a great pure then train str or range along with mage.

Mage pures are not good at all... you'll need some range or str with it.

Yeah I was planning on having range with it, maybe a tank, but my friends told me they were garbage.
