Well, I'm not the most educated person on the forums, but since no one is answering...

Rock crabs/experiments (require a quest and prayer) are the best for pures to train, from my knowledge.

Also, use a brine sabre (I think they have better stats than an R scim). Zamorak book if u have, fury, really just the best gear.

Rock crabs is a decent place, expierements are good also, depends on whether you're willing to quest.

Quest for Climbing boots (Death Paletu I think)
    Combat/regen brace
    Fury/Str ammy/Glory
    Robe/Iron
    Rune scim.

Not sure if I covered everything but there's a basic example of what you should have.

Also normal strength potions until like 60-70 strength.

Rock crabs and experiments are still the best places to train if you're low level

If you're training melee with 40 attack brine sabre is still the best weapon to use. If you're training melee with 60 attack dscim is still the best weapon to use. If you're training ranged, black knives are probably the best option. Training hasn't really changed a lot.

There isn't any gear to speak of that boosts xp a lot. The best amulet is still fury, best gloves are now addy instead of mith (because pures can do addy w/o mm reward now) or regen brace if you don't have rfd done. If you have 25 hours to kill you can make stat-boosting rings twice as good by imbuing them at mobilising armies. Zammy book is 20m now so bandos book (book of war) is a good offhand option if you're on a tight budget.

Rock crabs are still decent xp, but if you are willing to do a little questing, experiments may be the way to go.

As for your gear, 40-60 attack should be a brine sabre, and at 60, I suggest using a drag scimitar. Use a strength amulet, rock climbing boots, and if you don't have access to addy/mith gloves, I would go with a regen brace.

I'd say experiments would hit too much on you as you are only a low level currently. Stick to rock crabs, att and str pots to maximise exp.

Not really, obsidian cape is just fine. However, a Regen Brace is a lot better than a Combat Brace.
