'Mad Men'

Does anybody watch this show?

My thoughts:
It's great to see how some women nearly want to be a walking dishwasher, but then you have the wives who cheat, or are simply little hoes.
& then its fascinating to see how some men are born embracing the attitude of the era, and others are slowly persuaded to jump on the train and its just a completely different show, its not usually something I watch but so far although its kind of repetitive its funny, and a clever satire.

My fav characters:
Draper & his wife.
Draper embodies everything he is a strong masculine man who embraces the attitude, but also treats his wife with a little respect, and is growing in power so he's learning new things like: having a hooker with you at the bar while he blows money on food.
and the wife: gosh.. she has it made, and yet is "bored" very psychotic, keeps you on your toes, and annoys you with her little hoe attitude, but I always love a rebel.

 

When I was at college (its not what we call uni like in america) a few eyars ago, we watched a few episodes. Found how they cover the propaganda used to market cigarettes back in the day too. Probably going to give it a rewatch once I've finished with Spartacus.

 

I would recommend it! so far i'm on the first season and I'm loving it, wish I had fellow watchers to discuss it with though

 

Really loved this show but goddamn, at a certain point the misogyny is just indigestible. Stopped after like episode 8 man >_< Plus it made me want to just drink and smoke all day
