macroing dead?

jagex has recently posted a message on May 1st saying they were really cracking down on macroers and real world trading. Could this be the end???

 

Jagex is hopeless. There is almost NO way to stop macroers. Even if they find someway to stop SCAR or macro's we/they will find another way to bot.

 

Nope, they cant crack down on everyone. And RWT there are safer ways to do it, like staking the money, pking, etc. Takes longer time but it's safer. And for the bots, there are thousands of them. When they get banned they will come back so it will be alive.

 

nope its still going on, that day that it happened i could find a world at MB with out them. but i went last night trying to get some cosmic runes and went to almost 30 worlds then said F it and got them on forums. i have not looked much at yews on f2p worlds tho =\

 

you can't stop people and their ideas now-a-days.

 

I agree you cant stop autoing... new ones just come out.

None of mine have been banned yet =] thats all that matters to me. I dout autoing will end any time soon.

Nothing is wrong with autoing. Getting over 100k Essence during the weekend while your at the beach is fine =)

 

Jagex is just trying to scare people, notably the players buying GP for real-world money. If you look at their post, nowhere do they say they have any new methods of catching people. All they say is that it has become a "priority". Are you going to try and tell me that Macroing and Real-World Trading weren't priorities already? Nothing has changed.

thye said they banned 8000 characters they loose 5$-10$ per ever memeber that was macroin so they lossin themselves
