Recently, I've seen relation between the bans they're giving out for macroing.

Two of my accounts were banned for botting, and they were both F2P at the time, but when I macro on my main for however long, it doesn't get banned.

Do you think they're just trying to cut down and make people purchase membership so they don't get banned?

The older the account is the less chance of a ban.

No, the accounts that got banned from me were made in early 2006 and 2007.

It's always been like that... F2P accounts are more likely to get banned than P2P accounts. Lately though it looks like they've been cracking down even more on the F2P macroers.

Ofc f2p botter's are going to be more likely to get banned then P2P botters,
They're not making any money off f2p botter's and they're just helping to ruin they're economy,
Bot P2P and you'll be safe.

it all depends on whos around when your botting. i have been suiciding my f2p smithers/combat bots and only have run into 1 ban in the past 8 months, and i dont bot for 12 hrs im talkin the only time they're off is if i am out or sleeping and the script f's up.

to make it even more suspicious i have a few accounts named b0t with digits, and only 1 of them got banned

They're less likely to ban an account that's botting if it has membership on it especially if it's recurring membership.

It's almost like that. I have seen a lockdown on F2P lately.

Maybe their goal was for us to realize this and have to purchase membership therefore they're making money.

Whether you're playing f2p legit or not, its always an unfortunate situation.
