I know they are becoming mainstream now and breaking into the game, climbing the charts. Macklemore is legit. The Heist was an amazing album and I can't wait for what he puts out next. Anyone else with me? Or if anyone feels or has an opinion about him I'm more than willing to listen to it.

The lyrics are also mad legit. Good allusions to biblical references as well as other good rhymes.

 

I really like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. My friend told me about them a couple years ago and I've been listening since. They're great and their songs do have some really good messages. Same Love is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. Everyone should check it out:


I actually heard them played (Thrift Shop) at a party for the first time last night. It's awesome that they're catching on a bit more.

 

I'm glad to see Mack get some commercial success. I've got tickets to see him in Brisbane in Feb, gonna be pretty epic.

I think "Neon Cathedral" and "Starting Over" are the best two songs of his last album. Same love was good until it was over played, still got a good message though.

I just recently heard "thrift shop," and I can't stop listening to it.

 

i liked them more before they were mainstream, but thriftshop is now wayyyy too overplayed

 

Othersiders is their best song IMO^

The Fences Remix is good too, but the original is every bit as good
