Windows always is the best, I don't care about the hardware side, its simple to use and efficient for what I need it for.
*throws head back and laughs* Simple? Efficient? Dude you needa lay off the crack
It may seem simple, but with the amount of problems it has caused me (and trust me, I'm not a dumbass either), I'm surprised the tech's at the store don't get more fixing jobs because "Microsoft word isn't working" or "Why won't my computer boot".
And calling it efficient is just plain dumb xD
Vista has a good design, and most of the bus I experienced in XP seem to have been weeded out, however. I was, though, extremely pissed off when the disk cleanup tool deleted every single thing off my harddrive including Windows itself. I doubt that was meant to happen. Not happy Microsoft.
Vista is a sign that Windows is on its way to being good, but right now its just average, and I only use it to play games. I have Linux installed on my laptop, and if I wish to do any office-work, multi-platform programming (java etc.), or just plain general use, I will use my laptop whenever possible for these tasks.
I sense x9 coming here with an obsolete counter-argument such as "Linux isn't good for the end-user, its too easy to fuck up". I guess people don't have a brain, but personally, when I first fucked it up via way of too much modification (did you ever do this when you were first introduced to Windows? No) I just googled the problem (xorg had crashed) and replaced my xorg.conf with a backup.
Anyways. I'm out.
