Why is my computer doing this

so I built my pc in February,2015 and it was fine well the past few months Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet (see attached picture) this has been happening it doesn't happen often but it has twice today whitch is leading me to believe the problem is getting worse. So i will just be doing something on my pic anything and it will just go to that no warning nothing it was also showing black and grey stripes at time i only left it like that for a mintue. So I am wondering what is happening here I haven't really found anything on the Internet so far?

If you have a dedicated GPU try going into BIOS on startup and using your integrated graphics instead of your GPU and see if the problem continues, i believe the issue is with your GPU.

    it's happening because you're a cuck

But also it's a GPU problem reinstall drivers and if it continues it's a hardware problem. Inspect the card and make sure there are no obvious flaws (burst capacitors, stuck fan, burnt heatsink, etc.)

If you're still having the problem I may know what's going on with your PC first we'll need some information. But before that Uninstall Silverlight and reinstall it. If you don't have it installed then go ahead and do that. If the problem continues do this.

Type "Event Log" in the Start Menu check for any "Critical" issues. You can do this by
    1. Right click "Custom Views"
    2. Select "Create Custom View"
    3. Tick the following Critical and Error and click Ok

Check the critical errors and the event log following.

If the problem is what I think, it's caused by your GPU (which other people have said) Most commonly happens when watching Netflix. One possible fix for this is getting a UPS. They're not that expensive and may prevent the PC from restarting due to this issue. Also nice when you have a brief power outage. Hope this helps!

ALso, if you have a dedicated GPU plus Onboard VGA, you could just unplug the GPU from the board, reset the CMOS, and boot it up to see if you get picture
