Luring Ruined??

Luring will always be possible with coins. Even with item protect they'll only keep four coins (lol) so there's no way for them to save it. In fact, jagex even HELPED lurers by removing the wait time for dropped items in the wilderness.

 

Its not the end of the world lol i'm sure there is still other people you can lure =P

 

just get some noob fresh off the f2p boat annd start owning his scims haha..... if you have a good talking you can always lure imo just gl with it lol

 

If people aren't able to wear rares in the wildy, it could possibly be a silent update.

Or how about, the santa was a lent item? As lent items can now be taken into the wild, but can't be equipped.

 

I'm going to have to disagree with the people saying that jagex are trying to remove luring. It has been said in countless Q&A's that they believe luring is a strong part of the old wilderness. (Sorry i don't have any links.)

 

Not entirely sure if the lobster will even protect over the santa hat.

 

The lobsters do pro over santa, the rare he lured was lended. This happened to me and I almost lost 3m (I drop 4 zam pl8s). Make sure they can equipt the rare in the wild or its lended.

 

We have to find new methods to lure then.. PM me if you got one

Lended items protect over ALL other items.
If he took it off prior to walking in the wildy and kept in inv, that means it was lent since you can carry but not wear lent items in wildy.
If he was actually wearing it in the wildy... I dunno then

 

Proof that items are still kept by their alch value: I keep d skirt over claws!
The only option is: lobs<Santa or the logic one: Hat was borrowed

Im certain lobsters protect over rares, because my friends and I lured a mask a couple days earlier. I just thought it was some kind of silent update Jagex didn't announce. The item probably was lent, which i should have checked with before luring. -.-
