Luring is worse than scamming?

They are similiar, but scamming is worse.

You do have a point. If scamming is not allowed due to it being immoral, so should luring.

Scamming and luring are quite similar to me, they're both about deception and tricking the users into doing something they shouldn't.

However, I think scamming is a whole lot worse, when luring is almost part of the game and is allowed by many - there is not too much loss from it either, you can get scammed over $100, but you can only get lured into losing a few million GP's worth of loot.

 

I remember this, the days when RuneScape was meant for the players. lol.

 

I honestly don't see much of a difference between the two. It's taking peoples money from them when they aren't agreeing to it.

 

As stated, luring is exploiting the stupidity in people. It's their fault for not having comon sense. Sometimes things can appear too good to be true. For scamming you are intentionally tricking them to promote for your own gains, whether for money or just some kind of greater "power". I do agree luring and scamming is borderline close to each other, however.
