Goal Achieved, now what to do?

Okay so I set the goal of reaching Storm Of Armadyl on my account.

Since achieving it, I've done a firecape and two fight kilns.. Just to try it out. And it's awesome. But I played so hard to get it, now I've achieved it I don't know what to do :\

 

Work on your account stats.

Do quests, tasks, pvm or minigames.

There's really a lot to do on runescape because it's so vast. When the bot nuke comes you will see a lot of options becoming available.

 

Use soa for bossing, it's an amazing spell so either PVM with it or PVP

 

I've tried pking, but I'm not a fan of being a ragger. And that's the only fights you'll get.

Which bosses are good to solo with soa?

 

Honestly this was my problem on my rune pure, I achieved everything I wanted on it and then got bored very quickly.

I ended up ruining the pure just so I could carry on with the "Project".

Trust me on this don't ruin your account, just start a new one if you want a new project to work on, I've currently just made this build:

70 Attack
87 Strength
70 Defence
87 HP
99 Mage
91 Range
95 Prayer
80 Firemaking (Bonfires)

Turmoil DHer 101+9 combat and jesus does it own.

Trust me on this.. If you're looking to make a new account, this is the one.

 

I've already 'Ruined' my account so to speak, I was a 45 def turmoil pure for so long, but realized that pking just wasn't all that fun for me. I'm now 89 defence, almost maxed. But just wondering what to do now, surely I can't keep stacking up on tok har capes

 

Do the fight kiln and choose the onyx for the reward, if you can do it quick i think its like 3m/hr

 

I tend to be averaging 1-1.5 hours on a kiln, as I'm 68 summoning. Even with Virtus..

So it's not that great of a money making method.

 

There's your answer, go to Waterfiends, get your summon up:

Get Yak> Get Nex Gears> Solo Nex> Bank was made> Life was done> House was bought> Hellyeaboi

 

You had obviously high expections of SoA. Try to find something that gives you a satisfaction. If you can't find any, just leave the game.

 

Goal should always be comp cape. You just reached a small milestone, my friend. Take the time now to bot the horrible skills like agility, and then go for max/comp after the nuke.

 

I see the problem. Often people have this problem, they spend their time getting something and find that enjoyable but after all that work has been put in they regret it and have no clue what to do with the account. If you are looking for further things to do, go slay if you want a long goal for 99 summoning. This way you can also get 99 defense.

 

Slayer/pvm is basically the saving grace of the game for me. Try that ?

 

Set higher goals, maybe try to get a 99 or multiple 99's. Theres always things to do on RS

 

I've always wanted the overpowered things in the game, such as the Korasi.. Turmoil when it first came out, now SOA. Maybe these next two quests coming out soon give me something to work towards

I've always seen skilling as only a necessity for quests I need to complete. And High Combat stats to use the achievements for. But fundamentally now I've sort of gotten everything that you can from questing, mini-games etc I'm as overpowered as it gets, yet.. I still suck at PvP, I don't really know anyone in the game who Bosses or does the stuff I enjoy doing. ( Most are just dice hosts or lurers wanting my shit )..

That's what I was thinking as well. Go for the max cape + comp cape. If you want a really difficult goal that will definitely keep you busy, I'd look to first achieve the max cape which is insanely difficult on it's own, then look forward to the comp cape.

 

It sounds like your idea of fun in the game is constantly achieving new things. Since you don't like skilling or quests, perhaps you should turn your attention to mini games. Find the one you like the most and try to get the highest achievements in that. You could also try out an RSPS to get a decent feel of PvP without risk of losing your gear.

 

Okay, well it looks like I'm setting my goal towards that Max Cape.. But it does seem like a lot to do before I achieve it Time to get out Microsoft excell and highlight red everything that I must do !

Go pk as much as possible, you can make loads of money pking melee users with storm of armadyl.

Storm of armadyl is also going to be pretty useless in the EoC.

 

Pking is very different with storm of armadyl. Normally due to the fact that nobody wants to fight you !

And it's useless in the EOC beta, but I refuse to believe the requirements and the quests needed to get SOA, that it will fall into a pot of useless shit. When the EOC comes out
