Love?

Just up for an open discussion about love and your opinions on it.

Do you know what love is and have you even been in love with someone before?
Im not talking about Family/Friends im talking about having a soul mate.

 

I don't believe in soul mates, personally. I think anyone is as good a candidate to be your partner as the next, though we as humans decided to get picky with who we settle with.

 

I believe in love. I also believe love is 2-sided. I am in love with my girlfriend of two and a half years, but whether or not she is still in love with me is up for debate.

Being in love with someone who doesn't love you back is the worst.

 

I'm in love with someone else right now but after a fight where we broke up showed that you have to be careful and one day a lot can change.

We got back together, but love is different for everyone.

 

Completely agree, i just reckon alot of people mistaken physical attraction for love and i dont believe you can meet love at first sight.

 

Don't allow somebody to be your priority while allowing yourself to only be their option.

 

People may take this the wrong way.

I feel love and relationships are a waste of time in the early stages of your life.
You see these teenagers at 14 trying to get into a relationship. Either it's a waste of time our it doesn't benefit either individual. Especially later when you're 18 and you have important things to do. I've seen friends fall behind in college and stress themselves out over relationship issues. I don't mind and see a problem if you find attraction with someone else and you fuck, and go on with your business. But to go through all the hassle in a relationship just doesn't seem worth it.

I need to be financially stable more than enough to take of myself before I think about equipping a bitch to my belt.
I find the immature party life/tagging along with a new girl every now and then better than getting stuck.

That's just my view.

 

I am currently in love my girlfriend and have been for the last 2 years. I believe love is only possible if the two partners want it to happen.

 

Yeah i understand what you mean, i completely thought having a relationship at a young age was so pointless and stupid but other things changed my point of view in my situation anyways. Back like 4 years ago when i was 13 it seemed as if the only people i spent time with in the holidays was with a bunch of girls not to make myself sound good or anything but yeah i was always known as the quite one. I was really attracted to this one girl in the bunch and she was the first person i really opened up with, i just felt that we had good communication with each other.

I'm pretty much saying you can understand love/relationships at a young age but dont know how to go about it all the time because of experience of course.

The longest dating couple at my school is currently 3 years and still going.
