Osrs gold prices keep going down like crazy.

What is going on? You guys think they are going back up at any point?

 

I think gold will continue to drop and logically I don't see it going back up without a game changing update. There is way to much gp in the game and there aren't that many gp sinks in the game (the duel arena is one, but it's hardly noticeable when scaled to the amount of gp in the game imo). The only way I see gold prices going up substantially is with another massive update. Gold prices shot up because of the release of rs mobile, but all that did was bring more gold into the game.

Moral of the story, don't expect prices to go up a lot unless there is a massive update. Prices will continue to drop over time.

 

RS3 prices for example have remained steady for the past year /year and a half or so. I think they really need new sinks similar to what invention did to RS3 or I believe the prices will be the same as rs3 in the not so far future.

 

Supply and demand. The majority of people who play RS3 in my experience don't actively play RS3 for the sake of RWT'ing, but rather just because they enjoy the game.

There's a strong correlation between gold price tanking (see here) and you creating a Sythe account. You probably caused this.
