We almost let this game slip

 

We almost let it slip in the end when they went on a 24-4 run, but overall I think we played really good tonight. Shot 49.4% the whole night which is an impressive statistic. Big contributions from our bench and Steve Blake is back, taking a lot of work off of Steve Nash' hand. Big contributions from Earl Clark and Dwight Howard, and not to mention, Kobe almost had another triple-double.

 

hey we doing good now definitely running a better game compared to 2 weeks ago.

now i hope they make some noise on the road trip...

2/2 - T-wolves
4/2 - Pistons
6/2 - Nets
8/2 - Celtics
9/2 - Bobcats
11/2 - Heat

we can easily win 4 of these games and that's being generous. after the roadtrip we have Suns, Clippers, Celtics and Trailblazers before All-Star break.

ideally we need a .500 record heading into all-star break which would mean winning 8 out of the next 11 games. the only real threats are the heat and clippers everyone else we should be able to make work of. 8 out of the next 11 is definitely possible given the schedule and what we have been doing recently.

Yeah, only teams I'm worried about in our upcoming schedule are the Clippers, and Heat. But the rest of the games, we should win. I hope we get that .500 before the all-star break. #lakers

We got outscored in the fourth 29-13.. Hopefully we win against the wolves tonight.

 

Great game against the Wolves. Kobe near another triple-double. Pau Gasol starting for injured Dwight Howard, and he delivered tonight. Great win!

 

If Kobe continues to assist 10+ a game I can see the lakers making the playoffs if not goodluck next year

 

I can kind of see the Lakers making the playoffs now. Kobe just has to keep playing like this, assisting, rather than being the aggressive scorer he normally is.

 

Yeah Kobe attracts alot of attention with ball in hand that he can create other players good shots and if they try to lay off him he's got himself easy open shots he's likely to drain with his skill.

Dwight Howard needs to come back already and take over the paint like he did when he was in Orlando.
