Explanation of the trade: Did not go through with trade as agreed upon even though funds have been transferred. Used multiple fake accounts to post on his thread claiming successful trades (these accounts have already been banned), changed his discord profile name from Chemist#7925 to BongaApple#4497 after blocking me

To staff: Chris Kane made quite some throwaway accounts prior to this, which I have all banned, but I'm quite certain he was the one who scammed this guy.

 

My Discord account wasn't compromised, this was an imposter and my thread specifically says to contact me on Sythe before making a trade. This was a fake Discord account modeled after mine.

I spoke with an admin, my Sythe account is auth'd and my Discord isn't compromised. He didn't even do a good job of faking my Discord. Mine has a picture and the numbers are surely different.

This isn't my fault by any means. I have warnings posted on my threads. This guy is known for doing this, so I don't know what else I can say. I've followed the rules to the tee. It shouldn't be on me that the guy didn't message my Sythe to confirm.

Also, I changed the discord I've been using, which is why I hadn't bumped that thread in MONTHS. - All I can say is the guy didn't follow the basic rule posted on my thread to contact me on Sythe first to confirm it was me.

I don't want to blame the user, but the Discord didn't have a picture, the numbers couldn't have matched, and it was and I posted to PM my Sythe first.

I feel I've provided enough proof I personally had nothing to do with it, and it's a known imposter.

This is me contacting Wortel to report the incident.

 

This outdated thread was bumped by a known impostor scammer who took the name on a Discord Nitro account. You need to request a confirmation PM before trading with anyone on Discord to avoid situations like this.
