Looking to turn f2p pure into void pure

Currently I am:

49 CB
69 Ranged
61 STR
42 ATK
1 DEF
9 Pray
61 HP
41 Mage

Im currently working on getting skills/quests done for DT and will get the void once I actually get 42 def.

My question is, when should I start doing the quests to get my def up? I dont know whether to wait for higher cb and ranged or to do it now and get my void then train ranged.

Also, where should I train ranged if I do get 42 def and my prayer up and do you guys have any recommendations on quests to get pray + def up.

First, get void. Just leave it in your bank until you need it.
Then, do all of the quests & get the correct stats needed to wear void & stuff. Then... Train range
