Looking to get a gaming console with a friend but havent ever really gamed... help

Personally I would go with the ps3, cheap and still some fun old games that you can not play on the new generation consoles, plus xbox goes down alot more.

 

id get a ps over an xbox any time/day/weather tbh, never feel like paying for xbox live sub

 

Ps3 suggestions then please.

I would say get a Xbox360 and GTA5. On GTA5 you can race, play lots of game modes, free roam, create your own race tracks. Another game I would suggest would be SSX, its a snowboarding game thats pretty fun for either tricks/racing. Are there any games that you guys enjoyed playing with each other in the past? Also, on g2a you can get a year of membership for around 30$ instead of paying like 60 from amazon or walmart.

Oh yeah another thing I forgot to mention is on the xbox 360 they have a thing called games with gold or whatever and they offer 2 free random games a month.

Edit- Heres a game you could try on PC http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/ I havnt played it, but it looks fun and it has a lot of positive reviews.

 

Dont jump into next gen too fast, a lot of games on the XBone are expensive however 360 is cheap games that can be very fun
