The staff did handle this professionally, why wouldn't they?

Sure they were considering the concept of unbanning him, but it is simply because of his contribution toward this site.

Personally, I think the ban was a little unfair, considering who it was, but at the same time, I think it was justified, and it would be unfair to others who received a ban for the same offence.

 

I think it was a little unfair as well but if they had of unbanned him other's might think 'hmm if he got unbanned maybe i can do the same thing and use the case to get unbanned' So i believe they had to stick strong to there motives.
