Looking for some tips againts paypal charge back

I am going to have few trades soon and I was wondering is there a few ways to reduce the chance of getting charge back? Something like sending the money as a gift?

 

accepting paypal directly is highly unsafe really, payments sent as a gift cannot be disputed for goods not recieved etc, but they CAN be disputed as an unauthoirzed transaction, and if this happens you have pretty much no chance of winning a dispute.

 

There are no effective or easy methods of reducing paypal chargebacks or disputes. Gifting the payment does not help, neither does adding a note to the payment, claim/cancelling the payment, etc. If someone buys from you with the intention of reversing the payment later, nothing you do can stop them

 

To elaborate on Video says, the best way to protect yourself is to understand that there is no sure fire way to protect yourself. If you realize that every payment presents a risk, and there is no secret way to remove that risk, you can at least make better decisions.

There is no way to prevent charge-backs on paypal, simply avoid this method. I would suggest using Playerauctions, as this would protect you from charge-backs and allow new users to trade using paypal.

 

How does PA work? I've never used it before.

Until BitCoin can be funded with a CC / Debit card in under 5 minutes, it is not the solution.

 

Playerauctions. They're like an online middleman that makes it so once they've confirmed delivery they can't chargeback. I'm pretty sure they could run off with the cash and never confirm, but I'm guessing if the seller shows proof of the rsn that they entered on the form with screenshots.

 

Just checked it out doesn't support private servers like battlescape. Tried going on a live chat he asked me to suggest it but he also said that he doubt a private serve going to be added

 

I suggest using western union if it's that bad, however there are extra fees and it will narrow your market as some people can't use it...

It's a tricky one because paypal is the most accessible but also the most insecure chargeback-wise.

 

I always care while sending/receiving money by Paypal. Always use legal way and put genuine reason to receive transfer Paypal direct money. You can send little amount in "Gift" money option in Paypal. Time and payment restrictions are clearly mentioned in Paypal site. Plz go through and get useful information to manage recommended way of Paypal.

 

Well, there are a few tips I can give you like, make sure you always trade trusted people, get a feel for the person if they seem trustworthy or not you can have them email your email stating they own the email. just some little things that may help when it comes to dealing with chargebacks

 

Just sell/buy form trusted people and for newcomers have them email you with their paypal email, this wont mean they aren't gonna charge-back, but it does reduce the chance. since most people who buy once will surely want to again and filing a charge-back will make future buyers/seller not trust them at all.

 

No they cant 'run off' with the money really. Just provide a screenie your trading with the name they wrote on the purchase section.

Although they have very high fees.
