i need to make a website so could someone please help me? (i want it to be like www.blah.com)

Its only like 5 bucks for a whole year lol.... Just pay for one its either way too much to get one for free or impossible =o

You should pay for it. If you have a subdomain it looks very unprofessional, especially if you are making a forum. If you are making a forum I suggest vBulletin. It costs a fortune, but it is the best, and people are more likely to join.
