Looking for a new anime series

I've watched a few..but I'm bad at names so I can't really remember any.
A few I remember.. Attack on Titans.. Parasyte -the maxim-.
I tend to stay away from the main popular ones, but I don't know if I should watch them :|


Any recommendations on some I can watch?
Really good ones? Also give me a quick general idea on what they're about.


General idea on;

Parasyte -the maxim-; Parasyte: The Maxim (TV Series 2014– ) - IMDb
Some type of infectious killing disease attached to a human; very fun.

Attack on the titans; Attack on Titan (TV Series 2013– ) - IMDb
big giant eating things, also like a form of mutation.

 

Don't be some kind of anime hipster, watch the popular ones

 

Give me a few ideas:\ Bad at names so I don't remember any off the top of my head other than deathnote, and I only watched a bit of that:s

 

Try Deathnote, Sword Art Online, Black Butler, 7 deadly sins, Future Diary, The devil is a part timer, Blue exorcist, etc.

 

The popular Anime is popular for a reason, surely not everyone will like it but most would and do end up liking it, I would give madoka magica a go let me know if you like it if you ever end up checking it out.

 

When people say names at me, sometimes the names aren't as interesting..
So I need a lil understand of what goes on.. rather than me judging it solely by its title lel.

Blue exorcist and 7 deadly sins sounds interesting..

Death Note:
The story follows Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook from a Shinigami named Ryuk that grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name and face he knows. The series centers around Light's attempts to create and rule a world "cleansed of evil" as "God" using the notebook, and the efforts of a detective known as L to stop him.

Sword Art Online
In 2022, a Virtual RealityMassively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online (SAO) is released. With the NerveGear, a helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds. This new VRMMORPG is a big hit as it was developed by Akihiko Kayaba, the man who also invented the NerveGear. On November 6, 10,000 players log into the SAO's mainframe cyberspace for the first time and discover that they are unable to log-out. They quickly discover that they must beat the bosses guarding each of the 100 floors of Aincrad, a steel castle which is also the setting of SAO, battle their way through, and reach the last, 100th floor of the game if they wish to be free. Those who suffer in-game destruction or remove the NerveGear out-of-game will result in their real-life deaths.

Black Butler
The series follows Ciel Phantomhive, the thirteen-year-old (as of chapter 14) head of the Phantomhive family, an aristocratic family known as the Queen's Watchdog, and tasked with solving crimes in London's underworld. Ciel has formed a contract with Sebastian Michaelis, a demon who has taken on the disguise of Ciel's butler, to seek revenge against those who killed his parents and resulted in him being kidnapped and tortured. In exchange for Sebastian's service, he will be allowed to consume Ciel's soul.

The 7 deadly sins:
The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of knights in the region of Britannia(ブリタニア Buritania), who disbanded after they supposedly plotted to overthrow the Liones Kingdom (リオネス王国 Rionesu Ōkoku). Their supposed defeat came at the hands of the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that they were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup d'état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. The third princess, Elizabeth, then starts out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.

Future Diary:
Yukiteru "Yuki" Amano is a loner who spends most of his time writing a diary on his cell phone or talking with his imaginary friends Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space; and Murmur, Deus's servant. One day, Deus gives Yuki a special diary, mentioning something about a game. Strangely, Yuki's new diary has entries in it spanning the next 90 days—entries about the future that come unnervingly true. Deus, revealed to be the not-so-imaginary God of Time and Space, then forces Yuki to participate in a battle royale with eleven other people, each of whom also has a diary that can predict the future in some unique way. The rules of this "Survival Game" are simple: the contestants must try to find and kill all the other contestants before the world ends on Day 90, and only the last one standing can prevent the Apocalypse and become the new God of Time and Space.

The devil is a part timer:
The Demon Lord Satan and one of his generals, Alsiel, escape the world of Ente Isla through a gate to modern Tokyo, Japan after being confronted by the Hero Emilia and her companions. However, due to the lack of magic in the modern contemporary world, both Satan and Alsiel change into forms representing what they would look like if they were human. In order to survive, Satan takes a part-time job in a fast food restaurant named MgRonald while Alsiel serves as his houseman. One day, Satan, who now goes by Sadao Maō, meets a girl who is actually the Hero Emilia, who now goes by Emi Yusa. The story then unfolds and explores the personalities of each of the characters and their moral values. More characters show up from Ente Isla and they too face the new world dilemmas, often comically.

Blue Exorcist:
The story revolves around 15-year-old Rin Okumura, who, along with his younger twin brother Yukio, was raised by Father Shiro Fujimoto, an Exorcist. One day, Rin learns that he and Yukio are the sons of Satan. Witnessing Shiro dying to protect him, Rin draws the demon-slaying sword Kurikara, which restrains his demonic powers. From that moment on, Rin not only gains demonic features like fangs and a tail, but also the power to ignite into blue flames that destroy almost anything they touch.

Rin wishes to become an Exorcist like his guardian to become stronger and defeat Satan. He enrolls at the prestigious True Cross Academy exorcist cram school, which is actually the Japanese branch of an international organization dedicated to protect the human realm, Assiah, from the demonic realm, Gehenna. Much to his surprise, he finds that Yukio, is already a veteran Exorcist and is one of his teachers. Thus begins Rin's journey to become an Exorcist, accompanied by his brother and his fellow students who quickly become his close friends.

 

Ajin – Demi-Human
The story is about a student named Kei Nagai (永井 圭 Nagai Kei?), who discovers he is an immortal "Ajin" when he is hit by a truck. He becomes a wanted person because the Ajin are considered dangerous inhuman beings and the only person who is there to support him is his childhood friend, Kaito. While the government claims to help Ajin live in a safe environment, they are actually using them as subjects for cruel and inhumane experimentation. As a result, Ajin that have escaped are bent on revenge with the exception of Kei. During his escape it is subtly revealed he lacks the capacity for empathy and throughout the series only shows an interest in his own goals, pointing to the conclusion that Kei has antisocial personality disorder.
Keiichi Maebara has just moved to the quiet little village of Hinamizawa in the summer of 1983, and quickly becomes inseparable friends with schoolmates Rena Ryuuguu, Mion Sonozaki, Satoko Houjou, and Rika Furude. However, darkness lurks underneath the seemingly idyllic life they lead.


Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
As the village prepares for its annual festival, Keiichi learns about the local legends surrounding it. To his horror, he discovers that there have been several murders and disappearances in the village in the recent years, and that they all seem to be connected to the festival and the village's patron god, Oyashiro. Keiichi tries to ask his new friends about these incidents, but they are suspiciously silent and refuse to give him the answers he needs. As more and more bizarre events occur, he wonders just what else his friends might be keeping from him, and if he can even trust them at all.

When madness and paranoia begin taking root in Keiichi's heart, he will stumble straight into the mysteries at work in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, a story that is told across multiple arcs.

 

lol when he asked for not popular ones, i think all of these might be dubbed too. but popular ones are popular for a reason tbh

anyways, a certian magical index/scientific railguy, re-zero, tokyo ghoul, one punch man, might like zetsune no tempest, fate/x series, if you watched SAO maybe log horizion/Overlord, .//hack series, hai to no gensou no grimgar (i think it was called this, i cba to google the right name), and lastly how to pick up girls in a dungeon, i based these off of your 2 animes where the MC is very op and has to go through challenges, pretty much you'll enjoy these afaik, since it seems to be your pumpkin spice.

 

Try out Tokyo ghoul, sword art online and fairy tail. All in my top 10 anime list.

Since you've watched Parasyte and Attack on Titan, you would probably like these animes as well:

• Tokyo Ghoul (Season 1) & Tokyo Ghoul Root A (Season 2)
• Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Made by the creators of Attack on Titan)

• Darker Than Black
• Psycho-Pass

Was going to suggest Death Note, but found it. Would recommend @OP.

 

Ao no Exorcist

 

Death Note was the only anime I would actually recommend. It was that good.

 

I'd suggest watching something from the recent season I.e. Mob Psycho.

Watch one punch man, also I don't hear many suggestions for arslan senki.

Go to myanimelist to see what they're about

 

I'd suggest everything on this list. at the very least they'd be worth a look. Also if something is popular and has a large following then imo you should watch it because other people like it for a reason right.
