First of all, i doubt that you have a ferarri.

You space things out way to fucking much.

I bet you are pis poor and drive a fucking ricer.

Get something like a classic..you can get any good car for about 5k. Just get something with below 75k miles and you should be fine.

don't be an annoying prick with the soup can muffler. it sounds like shit and makes you look like a dumbass. Get something practical, look to save some money for decent wheels and a sound system. Every vehicle my dad has had since i was born he's done both of those to (and he cycles through them fairly quickly) and i'd feel naked in a car without them. Um but as for a specific car, it's all your preference. Don't get a muscle car as people suggest. No features, terrible handling, not a very trustworthy vehicle at all. Get something that atleast has power everything.

Lol, I was thinking the same exact thing, but I didn't want to be the one to say it.

Eric, I would agree though with most posters on this one. You should get a decent car for about $4.5-5G's then just get a system and some bass and everyone will want to ride with you. Since gas is pretty cheap now it doesn't matter too much what style of car you get. If I were you I would get a smaller car ie. Nissan Altima or BMW.

gas fluctuates. it won't stay the same forever. it always goes up in summer and down in fall. bmw for 5 grand will be old and stinky. altimas are awkwardly shaped and ugly. "every will want to ride with you" ends up being a pain in the ass.

I am being totally honest by suggesting that you buy yourself a Honda Civic because they are great cars that require minimal maintenance and have pretty good gas mileage.

Gas does fluctuate, but in the summer it will raise to about $4 per gallon and it all depends on what you're going to be using the car for. If your just going to be driving to work, school and around town, then a small Japanese car is perfect. If you're going to be going snowboarding and/or live in an area with rough winters, then an SUV would be a better decision. It does end up getting to be a hassle, but having your friends ride with you is always worth it. You can also get a pretty decent BMW for $5 grand. Go to www.cars.com. Type in all the credentials and set the max price to $5,000. You can get a nice clean BMW with about 75,000 miles, which isn't bad for a BMW.

yeah i guess it comes down towhat he needs. oh and the guy who said something about a civic, if you don't have anything against it, it's a good car. holds value very well, and are very good quality vehicles.

This is true, about the whole driving turbo cars. The only thing illegal is if you turbo a car that is not turbo from the factory. This is under "Illegally modified engine", it sucks but it's the law; regardless, it's still done.

You can find a 240SX around here for about $7,000 for one in decent condition. I would also agree that 180SX's are quite rare in America.

All in all, to the OP, try to get something that doesn't need constant repairs, and something good on gas. If you're up to it, get a manual transmission. There are many choices out there, try http://www.craigslist.org and check your area.

    Good luck.

Hm i spose i didn't really consider the difference in prices from here to there lol...
I didn't know 240sx's where rare in aus, although they're pretty similar in body shape to 180sx's aren't they?
Do you know if we can drive turbo diesel's here in aus on green p's?
