I recently retrieved one of my RSC characters... More than 10 years not logged in...

I think he is more happy that he can play rsc. You can't create rsc accounts anymore (with the exception of "special days" if they still have those).

They said back in '10 I think it was that they would not open up classic any more after that special.
Doubt they will change their mind seeing as the only people that play classic only bot 24/7

Nice to see you found your RISC I'd suggest keeping it all lvl 1 and 1 99 or you can become a skiller
