Got bored and decided to spend about $200 on lights and other led things like gloves, shirts and shoes for halloween

ended up raining so i made mud flaps that worked pretty legitly and went n rode around, everything worked and is water proof :p

what yall think? im thinkin of cutting out the snowboard and make the nose and tail the same as the other board you see below, so i can fit the offroad wheels onto it.

That's pretty cool but I couldn't justify spending $200 on lights for a board.

For a car, I could understand that, but not a board.

Like your color choice, although for the last pic, where is the green coming from?

ehh sadly i got nothin better to spend $200 on... perks of my job :p

green is a triple led headlight type deal, also got a red one on the back but the green is a bit over powering and the lights were un-evenly made, so the middle is crooked to the left :/

^ as above, 200$ is a bit of a waste. I mean, it's cool but how many times will you use it before it either gets broken or you lose interest? Neat idea but I'd have done it on a tighter budget. I'd say go for it, off-road wheels sounds like a lot more fun, and might give you some more use out of it and make it worthwhile.

Should always keep throw-away money locked up for a rainy day or emergency imo.

i live in the hills almost, so ill never lose interest in this :) im making longboard brakes, lighted hubs for the wheels, new design of material for flexible boards, and a clear box/riser for the trucks with tons of leds in it, cant go into detail but its gunna be savage :]

also $200 is litterally 4 hrs of work, so i aint downin to bad, and ill probably ride it more than i drive my car, especially at night

But yeah i see what ya mean haha, i got lay away money and un-employment i can count on haha

Oh I see, then I'd take back the using problem then, fair enough. Just out of interest how much do these sell for customised? (If there is such thing)

well gimme a month or so, and ill have 6 patents going so i can start making them and selling, im thinking they're going to be around $250-400 for the board and risers + brakes, trucks are seperate because any can be used on it, hub caps are going to be sold seperate due to variations on wheel sizes, but will be about $30-50 for a set of 8.

It's hard to believe that it isn't already patented. Good idea though and it turned out pretty cool looking.

You could prob sell it for bank to a skateboard company if you get a patent. ( easy way out, less profitable )

exactually what ima do :p and thank ya, took me a while and yeah there are some board similar, but the lighting is above the deck on the grip tape side or in the sides of the board lol

if that patent dont work, im positive the longboard brakes and lighted hub caps for wheels will go through with ease

and no firez, got the strips and headlights from superbrightleds.com

That looks pretty dope and is damn creative

Speaking of longboards, I want to buy something that I can ride for long distances on flat grounds with little or barely any hills; do you have any recommendations?

    Thank ya broski and absolutely

    Check out thelongboardshop.com

Id go with bear 352 trucks,

dropthrough board - never summer, landyachts, tan tiens, sector 9 or any 40" x 9-11" wide boards will be perfect for what ever you need.

Bone red berrings if you wanna be cheap, or bone swiss blacks are really good and only $50

And for wheels id highly suggest, zombie fangz or sector 9 - 76a - 82a urethane
The higher the grade the harder the wheel, 78a is my favorite for hills and just riding around since its harder to slide and is quiet
