    Long jump Techniques [Track]

Alright re-did my guide, I will add the pictures i can find..:p

This is for Long jump, to get a farther boost i length.

You will need your max speed when going, you should always at least have that.. Make sure your pumping your arms(One arm would go forward other would go back) for extra speed, your body will have a lean forward while running like this:

Then when going off your jump, you need to bring the opposite knee you jumped from up, and your arms need to bound up but still stay in the form you were running at so it would be like this:

Run to the board/line you jump from with proper form (body leaned, arms pumping, ect.) Then you will hit the line, bring your opposite leg you jumped from up, and pull both your arms into the air for extra height/length.

Measuring your run; You need to start from the jumping mark, run around 70 ft, or until your max speed, hen the foot you jump off of hit around there, check and thats were you'll start from.

It works, if you cannot do it, your doing it wrong.--No other pics I could fine on google images..lols

You should add more description in your guides, use pictures and colour to help the reader and make it more interesting, talk about the different dives you can do, and how you can land, make some advantages of these. If you can't find pictures on the web, make your own on paint as this guide is too basic and short and wouldn't generally help anyone at this stage.

This isn't a guide. Go into more detail. Explain how to measure out your run up, explain how to effecitvely hit the board, explain how to use your legs and arms effectively.

I have done this in GCSE PE, and this doesn't help at all.

Looks like the form is strange, you're leaning more backward then forth. That will cause you sometimes.
