have you played starcraft 2
GurtaAlso, Gurt gimme your LoL name and who is Longsword?
LoL is casual.
Dota or nothing.
LoL allows no denies, and 300Gold/Kill, meaning your farm is much faster regardless of who you are. What does this mean? More Team Battles, more interesting.
Cause you suck.
EDIT: Also I'm actually a Dota player and I've played Dota for much much longer but no one plays that any more so thats why I do LoL now.
DoTa is too boring in my opinion. The current metagame = Get Invoker if available, if not, spectre or morphling, farm until 50 minutes, then rape everyone. If this fails, too damn bad, you lost. If nobody kills you, then they lose. If I wanted to be a farmer I'd go farm WoW gold.

Tbh, I was the most anti-LoL person in the world, thinking it was a wannabe DoTA. Then, after playing, I realized it's a much faster paced game and funner than DoTa
Just my 2 cents
You should download Garena...
yea and play with a bunch of laggy Russians.... no thanks.
When I use to play, longer games are more interesting, dota took way more skill than LoL.
I played LoL in closed beta for like 10-20 games and it was WAY too kiddie and watered down.
Kiddie meaning it was way simple.
I also hated how extremely fast the games were, the longest LoL game I palyed was 15 minutes & I've never lost a match.
Denying was one of the best parts of dota, shows how much you outskill your lane opponent. Last hits = essential to winning early game.
I decided to give it another chance a year later, still the exact same.
But I won't put any negative comments on the people that play LoL because for the most part it's because dota isn't played anymore.
This coming from an ex-dota pro means something, also I read something on another dota pro trying both HoN and LoL to see which one was better.
He said that he can hop into a LoL game and never lose, which is exactly what happens for me, and I haven't even played dota in over a year.
If you're going to play a free game that's actually challenging, try HoN.
It always comes down to personal preference, but being good at a simple game isn't really that much of an accomplishment.
When dota2 comes, it'll destroy all dota clones.
