Login Servers Offline?

I doubt it's weather. Jagex is a wealthy company. I am sure they have Surge generators. Anyways, some person on the forums was ranting about world 59. I was reading it and he/she said that everybody's name was messed up similar to this http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=303085&highlight=glitch

 

First, THIS IS NOT BECAUSE OF ANY UPDATE. There is a severe problem with the servers, or maybe it could do with the HUGE STORM that just went through England.

There have been many power outages there and if the servers went down because of that, it wouldn't be that big of a surprise. They also might of been taken down on purpose to prevent any damage that could happen from keeping them up during the storm.

The storm has currently subsided at the moment and it is only a light drizzle and cold weather there. It should be up within a few hours, go outside or GO TO SLEEP and forget about RuneScape for a few hours.

This also could be totally unrelated to the storm, and maybe an employee at Jagex took something offline or did something wrong by accident, either way, if one of those is the real problem, someone just lost their job.
