Logic Question - See how smart you are.

If something does not end, it's infinite.

The term "never ending" is an synonym for "infinite". Therefore saying never ending with a limit is like saying infinite with a limit. It's a contradictory, though you can limit infinity to produce specific results. You do it a lot when you're dealing with trigonometry.

Logic Question - See how smart you are.

    Wrong.
Never-ending can simply refer to 'continuous'; which is a property of ALL linear functions that are not limited by numerical discontinuities (refer to basic calculus). However, ALL continuous functions have limits - which completely renders your idea redundant.

In mathematics; you don't 'limit infinity' as your blissful ignorance allows you to detail. You take infinity as the maxima in which a function is produced; and use this as a limit in itself.

Also, all trigonometric functions can be expressed by simple exponential functions. I bet you didn't know that one either. Need a Math 101 class?
