and I attempted to run a bot, and it froze up and wouldn't close. So I logged out of my VPS, and I'm wondering what steps I need to take to log back in.

Logging Onto My VPSOpen up putty, log in, and type in vncserver. That will bring your VPS back online.
If that doesn't work, then do this:
Log in putty, then type in vncserver -kill :1; and THEN do vncserver.

Logging Onto My VPSYour entirely unable to connect to your VPS via a VNC? If so, you could check the client area of your provider to see if there's a way to restart it. If there isn't, just submit a ticket (remember you'll have start the VNC server again in PuTTY).
Edit: Do what he said first. Just do what I said if everything is frozen when you connect through the VNC.
I'm sure he knows more than I do.
