Read DG's post as to why he was infracted if you don't like the way I explained it.

I understand that he did acknowledge it, but he should of not posted in the thread unless he met the requirements that he knew he should of had. He could of easily PM'ed TJ asking for an exception and avoided this entire situation.

A user must know that he is accountable for what he posts, even if he edits it, and that he shouldn't do such childish things as editing his post for the worse. Even if he edited his post to something more friendly, or even deleted his post after the infraction was received it wouldn't change what he posted as he already received an infraction for the post he originally made.

I agree, a user must know that he's accountable for his posts. I am sure IWCMORE knows he's accountable for his post but I'm also sure he knows the infraction is utter bullshit and not against any rules. As for the childish part, in my opinion it's pretty damn childish to give out infractions for petty things like this.

What do you not understand about "he was not spamming"? Seriously... He made a genuine offer.

I would believe that the user would get a serious response if he had asked for an exception by sending a PM. If what the user stated in the quote is true, and he has valid proof to support his claims, then I would reverse the infraction given to him as it is unethical to tell someone to post in the thread knowing they do not have the required # of posts just to infract them.

I don't agree with the underlined part as I don't think its 'utter bullshit' and it IS spamming. As for the last sentence, I'm going to say that everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect yours but mine is different. The Moderator who infracted him was enforcing the rules and keeping the forums to be a better place.

 

He knew was going to be declined because of what was originally posted in the thread.

I think it was a little harsh, you seem it a lot. People say "only going first to trusted people" and a leecher with no vouches will post saying "you go first". I've seen worse let go. I think he was inquiring more than anything.

You guys also said that he should of send him a PM instead. Had he done that, people would not have known that TJ was strict on his rules and making no exceptions.

I'll say this to I W C MORE. If you'd like, you can send me $28 and I'll forward it to TJ. I'll be responsible if you chargeback. THIS IS A FAVOR ONLY FOR I WC MORE, NOBODY ELSE.

Mods, be a little more lenient, spamming is enforced to prevent people from gaining post-count unnecessarily. I don't believe he posted to gain post-count.

Again, just my opinion.

 

Thread is too long. Long story short, even if the post wasn't spam, he edited into spam because he is immature so its completely warranted now.

 

No I didn't I said it wasn't insane. That's why were arguing about it. Your thread is clearly here because you feel he doesn't deserve it but we do. My own posts are not spam.

 

I read Wc's original post and thought it was reasonable, and non-infraction worthy. I also hate how TJ requires you to have posted alot as if it is some kind of trustmeter.
