Well there are two islands haha. At the end of the day I could spend a whole day basically driving to Auckland or catching a bus or I could catch a flight and be there in an hour. Managed to get a great deal on the flights as well so it turns out to be maybe even cheaper flying at least when we're going up/coming back.
