Living Rock Patriarch

Okay so I know I'm a noob, but I just found out about him today. A friend of mine said he's like Bork and only you can see him, is this true? And the spawn is about every 2 hours?

I looked at the RSWikia page for him and there wasn't a whole lot of detail. I'm really curious because this could be a really good daily for people, and if the spawn is about every 2 hours it's an easy 400-600k per day, maybe more if you are dedicated about doing it every 2 hours lolol.

For anyone who doesn't know, he's a level 200 in the LRC who drops a guaranteed 200K loot.

He is like bork, but in the LRC. Drops 200k every time. Spawns every hour.

Living rock patriarchs are huge creatures that randomly spawn in the Living Rock Caverns. They were released along with the Living Rock Caverns on 17 September 2009. When a patriarch appears, any player around the area can attack it, but since the cavern is a single-combat area only one player can fight it. Protect from Melee is recommended, but they are not very powerful for their combat level and a high-levelled player with good armour can easily kill it without any food or prayer. When slain, the patriarch drops its entire drop table (which consists of four items) at once. This drop is quite valuable, so whenever a player sees one, he or she should attack it as fast as possible.

Despite common belief, their spawn is not triggered by killing living rock creatures, but rather the amount of people in the world. They spawn erratically every 2 hours, tending to appear in the south-west, south-east, and north-east corners of the cavern.

So it's visible to everyone, and only one can attack it. It spawns erratically approximately every 2 hours, so you wouldn't be able to time it or anything for a daily. If you bring a pick Rock Creatures are already decent cash though, so if you're on a task the extra 200k wouldn't hurt lul.

yea his drops are 200k everytime so its good for kills if u see him

Thing is many people power kill him. On average you could manage 400k-600k/h if your lucky. But it's a lot of effort.

I got 99 attack there from 95-99 and I didn't see him once.

It's not invisible to everyone.
I've been in there mining and had like 8 people talking about it being right next to us.. I could see it too.

It's just a special monster that spawns every hour and drops like 200k in gems/runes/ores

It's a nice addition while mining in LRC, but I wouldn't actually go hunting after it.
