Thread Suggestion ~ Price range option? ~

Hi guys, just a quick suggestion.
Im sure im not the only user who has trouble looking for an account in my price range, i was thinking if on threads there was a small insertion where a user could enter their price, then on the sections of accounts we could click on our preferred price?
For example
$0-20
$20-40
$40-60
so on and so forth.
Reason being many users out price their accounts and it's annoying flicking through threads finding an account in my price range

Seems like something nice, but I'm not sure if everyone will set up a price for their thread as most people prefer others to be offering x amount of $ for their account, rather than giving the owner himself the ability to decide the price range.

 

I see what you mean, see this forum is free to offers and slim guide prices which is where the idea may catch flaws but at the end of the day it was just an idea ,so i guess those to put a guide price their listings could show in a separate thread or something, not too sophisticated but something stable to the forum.

 

Alot of threads have a higher autowin. I think people wont put their acc in the right price range. But if this works out its a great idea

i dont see why you cant post a thread saying "buying account $60-100" but if its possible, i dont see anything wrong with this either

 

I reckon an additional option to the setting of the thread.

 

There would need be an option to enter a price for your account while creating a thread then as well, would the price appear in the title or the post?

 

Regarding the price of the thread, i'm talking about a different section for the price range thread, for example the end of these threads, in an ideal would be the price of range of accounts that go into that thread, for example :

 

Wouldn't it be a hassle for mods to have to monitor all these sections? If there are 4 sections now and 4 different price categories per section, then there would now be 20 sections total including the original 4.

 

There wouldn't be 20, there would be 16, thats if they over complicate it, It's quite easy really, if you add a price range at the end of every title of a section then there wouldn't be a problem, but that means searching of an account at your desired combat, dis regarding pures or mains or whatever the type. UNLESS the web designer creates four sections, as there are now which price ranges. So from your point of view, there would not be 20, there would be 8 max if need be. As one option could be for 0-50 OR 100+.

 

You could see this as a forum wide issue. I'm not a fan of categorising all market threads. It will probably decrease market activity and require heavy Xenforo modifications.

 

I get your point now, I assumed different sub sections for each current section. It's not a bad idea so I would support it if it didn't require a lot of dev time.

 

would be too much text. It'll kill mobile versions IMO, no support, some people are buying from trusted providers aswell they dont really look at price.
