A few days ago, while attempting to install Puppy Linux or DSL Linux on a flash drive, I inadvertently added it to my Seagate 160 GB external H/D, and now I can't access the Seagate from Vista and can only tell that there is a 50 MB partition presumably holding the DSL (for Damn Small Linux) as well as the VFAT partition of 149 GB on the disc.
Do you have any idea what the procedure is for recovering the data on this drive? I don't need the Linux stuff, 'cause I have it all on mini CD's. The Windows partition, however, contains a lot of stuff that to me is invaluable; such as passwords, photos, downloaded software, etc.
