Linkin Park - Thousand Suns

Any new thoughts on Linkin Park with their new album? I have only heard The Catalyst which is alright but I heard the rest of their album is kind of like Minutes to Midnight.

Some people on torrent sites are even claiming to defend Minutes to Midnight yet say their new album is trash.

Thoughts?

 

Its nothing like Midnights to Midnight :|

Its not good if you only like Linkin Park because of what they made before this, if you had never heard linkin park before and you listened to the album,You may or may not like it. I liked it, but its nowhere near as good as any of their old stuff.

 

It was a very big disappointment for me. Their old albums such as Meteora, Hybrid Theory and M2M was much better. I hope they do better on their next album.

 

First of all, I laugh at the user who says "I hope their next album is better"

Fact is, Linkin Park is a changed band and have created their own genre.

The album sounds alot like Minutes to Midnight, and nothing at all like Meteora or Hybrid Theory.

I don't like LP's new sound, and am not looking forward to their next album...

 

It sounds nothing like m2m and honestly it is there weakest album. I honestly don't like any songs on the new album which saddens me greatly.

 

for me this is there best album... but after all everybody is different.

 

Everyone has different styles. For me I like their old shit better..nothing can beat hybrid theory and meteora.

 

There new stuff is too emo.
