Deleted threads, unaesthetic:

Is there some reason as to why deleted threads, threads with deleted posts pertaining to them are still being displayed everywhere? Including the deleted posts 'icon'. It's unappealing, and makes the forum look unprofessional.

For those oblivious to what I'm referring to (just for people to see what I mean, they are within all forum sections however - not limited to the pictures only):

So my suggestion is to; resolve these deleted threads/posts issue.

 

Someone said it had to do with dicing being implemented when I asked about it recently I'm not 100% sure about that though. But basically showed if people were cheating.

Is is not an easy fix? Or it's not possible to be fixed?

 

To begin with it was because people who dice wanted to see people who deleted their posts, but I can't grasp the fact why they even needed to see this considering mods can, already? The perm should be removed all together for users who aren't moderators. It makes the forum look unprofessional and messy to say the least. I support this notion.

 

I suggested it to Sythe for the sand box section because not only are there not enough moderators to facilitate every single dice trade that happens, it's a waste of fucking time.

I thought Sythe had already removed the perms from every section and only left the Sandbox, but seems not. <-- This is what I'd suggest doing.

 

I can see why it's useful in dicing sections/threads. Sure, mods can see deleted posts. But should they have to trawl through the section to look for deleted posts? Makes it a lot easier if users can see it and report it.

On the other hand, I can't see any reason for it to be shown everywhere else (with the exception of delete post bumpers). Is there a way for it to only be visible in the Donor's Lounge/Dicing Competition sections?

To be honest, I don't like the fact normal users can see deleted posts/threads as I agree it looks horrible.
Obviously it's useful for mods so we can check back on threads etc, but for a normal user I see no point in them being able to see the posts/threads other than for dicing. Which should be on the Sandbox forum only.

 

We can't actually view them btw, it just says that there has been deleted posts by this user. It's kinda annoying.

 

It does look kinda weird, and wasn't this something that only mods/admins could see?

I actually like being able to see stuff like this, it'd be nice to have it toggled off except for certain sections by default though.

 

From when i was banned i couldn't log in therefore deleted posts were hidden, looked much more appealing then it does now, remove the plague that is gambling from sythe

 

Its only supposed to display like that in the sandbox and possibly the donor lounge(not sure specifically). As far as I know its already being fixed; gambling is entirely irrelevant to the issue.

Support, might as well only allow it in Sandbox to prevent scam, but nowhere else in my opinion is needed.

but apparently its the newest innovations for sythe. so nothing happened./
