Thoughts on Premier Club?

So I've considered buying a premier club subscription (gold). Anyone have it and could give their opinion on it?

If the bonds didn't cost so little in terms of rsgp, it would cost more than my legacy membership rates, which is stupid

 

I like it a lot, I would have preferred Rune Coins to Loyalty Points but I'd say it's worth it. Now I don't have to worry about renewing for a year and the cosmetics aren't too bad. I mainly just wanted a long term membership for 07 Scape. But I think it's not a terrible deal. Hopefully the promotional items in 2014 are cool. I gotta say, the Snowman head with the particles graphic is really neat.

 

As Duke said, if you plan on getting long term membership, it's not a super bad deal with all the little extras you get. If you're not 100% sure you're going to want to be a member the entire time, I'd say don't do it.

 

Agreed ^. If it was 2k Runecoins like it was last year I wouldn't have hesitated. It's still a really solid value, especially since they've already made 2 more exclusives in the christmas pudding + snowman head.

 

The rewards for last time's Premier Club were better than the current. I do believe it's better in terms of cost. Costs less than buying membership per month.

Lol'd. Loyalty Points are total shit anyway for the most part. I have over 500k of them and don't plan on using them any time soon. I wanted Rune Coins..

 

I bought the premier club membership last year, and I don't think I will be doing it this year. I only used about 4 months of last year's membership. =/ I wouldn't suggest paying for a full year and making the same mistake I did.

 

I say its worth it if u play rs3 alot especially with the perks. But even if u play 07 24 bonds for 1 year isnt a bad deal at all.

 

I didn't buy last year because I intended on quitting, but that never happened. I think that if you intend on playing for the whole year, it's worth it. I'm tempted to do it tbh.

EDIT : Upgraded to Gold status, tbh it works out cheaper so i'm probably saving myself some cash.

 

Bonds are superior.

 

Tier 5 auras coming in 2014 might turn this opinion around.

 

I signed up for the loyalty program the day it came out, probably used about 100k points. I have no idea how many I would have now after buying the gold package.

 

the little chat icon next to your name would be pretty cool. But, a whole year of RS would be hectic. I've never played for much longer than a few months at a time, without then giving it a rest for a few months.
My opinion: probably not worth it.

 

Like he said, you wont even know if you gunna play for a year so I wouldnt do it
