Explanation of the trade:

1. I put up a thread requesting someone to train an account from scratch to DS2. (click on the link)

2. W1ll0wCaptain1 approached me via Discord. See below


3. We agree to a price (140M) and he gives me his ETA


4. I'm being skeptical on his ETA; he tells me he is a long grinder and efficient at questing.


5. We agree that he covers the supplies in the beginning, and I'll pay him back up to 10M. He also links me to his Sythe profile


6. Admits that his ETA is fishy and tells me he can't cover the supplies momentarily


7. Acknowledges that I bonded up the account


8. Him agreeing to the TOS, which sets the 4th of August as a deadline. TLDR; Every day late substracts 10M from the payment and cancelation fines him for 50M


9. Sent me a bad PM after I requested a PM, also check out the date


10. He forgot that DS2 also requires skilling. I explicitly said, in my thread and in Discord that the job was from scratch. Nevertheless, I provided him with an account that's not from scratch. I agree to give him some extra time. I knew from the beginning that 7 days was too crazy, but eh? Sometimes miracles happen right.


11. Him bargaining to get some more time. Me telling him it's fine, but repeating that he explicitly knew what he signed up for. I addressed his ETA multiple times and also pointed out that the account is from scratch several times. This isn't an excuse. Regardless, I'm trying to be flexible with the man.


12. He starts working on the 28th and finishes all the f2p quests. He tells me he can do it in 12 days, I tell him 14 days is fine.


13. After the 30th he stops responding. He PM's me on Sythe telling me that his discord is disabled. He indeed stops responding on Discord. Funny enough, he also does not respond on Sythe and the account is not making any progress. Below you can see him blatantly ignoring me through the period of 10 days.


14. After a bit of stalking, you can see that he's probably lying about his Discord being disabled. He is promoting his own businesses under the exact same DiscordUsername. Furthermore, he's advertising doing torso-jobs amongst others.


15. As can be seen below, he only got 46 quest points, most of which, f2p and super easy quests. All that in a period of 12 days. He still has 2 days to finish the job but considering the state of the account and his attitude, I would say that's impossible


How they scammed: Violated the TOS (pre-emptively)

Two points I would like to make:
1. Technically speaking Will0w did not cancel the service, so it's still ongoing. This means that for every day that he is later he will be penalized by 10M. If he does decide to cancel the order (which his behavior and the fact that it's impossible to finish now does imply), then he is due 50M and a bond by the TOS that he agreed to. I hope that this is a lesson for him. Stick to your promises and if you can't stick to them, don't make them in the first place. And even if you made the mistake of making a promise that you can't abide, I was super lenient from the beginning and I would have stayed lenient if you had chosen to talk to me.
2. Even if the provision in the TOS is not triggered, please note that two PM's above (as can be seen in screenshots 9 and 13) are bad PM's.

 

Just chiming in, I fired that person today and I'm holding 100M of his. Depending on the staff's decision I could give you that 50M; not sure where the other 50M would go towards.

 

He also owes me money.

I can provide proof. Staff let me know what you'd like me to do.

This has been like a year of this guy claiming he doesn't have the money.






I am ONLY posting so that the rest of the money in @Ambiguity possession goes to me and not the community fund/back to him. I'm tired of this guy saying he'll pay me back and not doing it lol.

 

Hey I paid President the 50m
I still owe China gp a year ago but he was going to have me do some services to make it up which he never replied to what i'd be doing (I can send any screenshot neccessary to confirm any of this)
