Lil Wayne - Best rapper or Worst.

Honestly I Hate little Wayne He Is Not the worst Rapper ever But He should be because His lyrics flat out suck And make no sense. And he raps about the same shit every time Money, Women , fame.

 

What he has alot of.

most of his lyrics are what every other mainstream rapper today is rapping about, just a different voice, different beat.. same played out lyrics about girls, money, fame, hustling and other people hating on them... it's just them bragging but with a beat.

he's definitely not one of the best rapper, hes ok mainstream wise, but should never be considered one of the greatest rappers. i do admit he has a few good songs, that is if those are his lyrics...

 

Lil Wayne is hardly the best rapper at all. In fact, I think he's paying too much attention to his appearance and status, rather than his music. Granted, he's rich, famous, and popular, but musical-wise, he fails to impress me whatsoever.

 

I like some of his songs but I dont like his voice...

He isn't the worst ones but he is near there.

 

I think back maybe 2 years ago Lil wayne was an amazing rapper. I loved all of his songs. Than he started to be original and tried to add some rock to his raps?!? Idk what he is trying to do but his new songs suck. He is no where near the best rapper but he WAS good but not now. I think he is near the worst now.

I like his voice in some songs, but in others its just annoying.

Now and days rappers are rapping about anything... Prime example is Lil Wayne, he rap's about the DUMBEST SHIT ever. And his instrumentals are all girly and shitty... He needs that underground, mix-tape rap. Gucci Mane has the best Mix-Tapes tbh.

Alright guy's the only thing that seperates him from the greatest is basically he is not dead end of comparing him.


He actual said he wasn't a rapper in a interview and he just said he dose music and i think "prom queen" wasn't a rap song . lil wayne feat korn.

and he has done over 100 Reggae songs which some are horrible wanted to jump through a window . im half jamaican and i use to live their so to see him just like say some crazy shit like in eating a girl out which we jamaicans well most of us dont do.


the only reason why it was on "bet" because he is black, and he did rap song before so they thought it probably be the same . even the girl who intruduce the song said it was a totaly diffrent from all his other songs.



IF lil wayne died today he will become bigger than all the rappers who are dead i can almost guarantee it.

and the only time lil wayne tried to write for himself was when he was in the hot boyz well the begging of it.thats when gillie da kid actual taught him how to and use to ghost write for all of them.

Lil Wayne isn't the best rapper, he does have some good metaphors every now and then in his raps.

I'm a big rap fan, that's all I got on my iPod and I've listened to Biggie,2pac, Jay-z, and guess what? They got deleted the next day. Sure pac and jay have some good tracks but not as many as wayne does on a mixtape/album.
I say wayne was better when he was with the hotboyz, his flow just made more sense and was more straight forward I guess you could say.

to pure boy... all the shit on the radio is mainstream music, all commercialized. but to name a rapper who has better lyrics on the radio than lil wayne and will go down as a bigger rapper than lil wayne... jay z.

 

I Don't Mind a Few of the Song's But a Few Are a Bit Ridiculous Lyric Wise, Sometimes He Can get a bit carried away, But then again he is rapping.

 

Even though rap is not my favourite music genre, that's what rapping is all about.

He's good, not the best though. I can't really explain it, maybe it's his lack of lyrical expertise, maybe it's his self-proclamation of greatness. I just can't explain it.

personnally i think his new stuff is pretty good and he's still sticking to the rap genre but expermenting. one of his new ones "prom queen"just shows the versatilety that lil wayne has for the rap game.
