'Like' a post

I'm not sure if this would be possible, but I think it could be helpful if there was a 'Like' a post, so users could see higher rated answers (so they can see better answers) to questions and things, in the discussion forums. And even if they had an option to choose to sort the posts in the thread by the amount of Likes on it, so the better answers would be more visible.
Just thought it would be a cool feature, and would benefit users

 

I honestly don't understand why we'd need this. If you don't like a post surely you can just reply to them and give a reason why?

 

I feel like this has probably been suggested 1,000 times... but then again, I know some things do eventually get implemented after being denied many times.

So, support. I just like liking stuff. It's what Facebook created us to do.

 

I like the idea, also seen it on other forums. I'm all for it, provided it doesn't create any security issues with vb4/plugins/w.e.

 

I wasn't suggesting having a dislike button, just a like button. That way people can see which comments people like so they can get correct answers to questions, and if people wanted they could sort the posts in the thread by the amount of likes a post has.

It's useless. There is no benefit to having it and it would just be time wasted in adding it. Just my opinion. Also it has been denied more times than I can count or remember.

 

I like this, sometimes what you want to post someone already posted it and don't want to post because it would be considered as spam.

Sorry if it has been suggested before, I would have checked but the search feature isn't working at the moment. I just thought the idea would be cool and could actually help people find (correct) answers to questions quicker in the discussion forums.
