Leveling defence.

So im wandering which out of the 3 ways is faster to get defence to 80 (keep in mind all other stats 'attk, str' are 1)

- Train just defence on monsters all the way to 80, hitting about a maximum of 2.
- Train defence on monsters using range, having the defence mode selected.
- Train defence on monsters using magic, same as range. Just magic.

So which would be faster, not too fussed on costs if it matters.

 

magic, i'd say that'd be quicker + it'd get you good mage and defence

 

Fastest way would be melee using defensive stance. I believe you only get 1/3 of the xp you normally would per hit if you use range or mage.

 

Melee is the best option, Range/Magic will waste your time.

 

If you getting 75 for Sol, then why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I am 40 def 1 attack 1 strength, but I have zeals for 70+ defense. you get like 2k/h with 1 attack and 1 strength, so I say do sw because it is faster

 

i wouldnt be members. and seriously, all the way to 80 def hitting a max of 2?
would it really be faster?
