Level 13 - Full Rune - F2P - Impossible?

Hey guys I want to make a full rune (chain-body) pure. With 40 defense/10 hp, I know this can be done easily in members with Soul Wars and Penguin Points but I'm not going to waste $7 for a shitty account like this. My question: Is it possible to get 40 defense with no combat skills and without leveling HP being a free player? I will use the XP lamps from Quiz at Barbarian Village to get from 1-10 defense. Then what..? Do any F2p quests give ONLY defense XP, no other combat XP? Are there any other ways of obtaining XP lamps (not including random events)? Thanks.

 

You're probably going to want to go members.. I don't think you would be able to do it w/o leveling another skill up. Just soul wars and you are good to go.

 

I don't think its possible unless you use random event rewards to lvl 40 and that would take forever, other then that there aren't any ways to get def up without getting hp up.

 

Someone told me tasks at lumby (when you talk to someone they will say bring me 24 oak logs or somethin') you can get xp lamps as a reward, is this true?

 

Yes, it's true. Achievement diaries, quests, and random events are the way to go.

I agree it would take a long long time, just spend 5 bucks and do some soul wars

 

I would have to agree with all of the above. My defense pure, currently level 31 with 75 defense, only took about 2 weeks with soul wars.

 

Search "Buy Pickaxe" He never been a member. Just used exp lamps/books. It's possible.

 

It's not worth the time investment; it is much more practical to just buy a membership pin for $3 from the blackmarket. $3 = 20 minutes of work, as opposed to 40+ hours (minimum) of work you would spend doing it in f2p otherwise.

its possible but there are no f2p quests that give only def xp.
you have to do a lot of skilling to get that much lamps.

 

Just buy a pin from Sythe, isn't it worth it? I mean, $3 is all you need.

 

I'd spend the membership money.
