Lets learn about Facism

Not only do I want to educate you about Fascism but I want to explain how it is left wing not right wing its never the "evil greedy capitalists" its always the commies/socialists. I don't mean all liberals are fascist and all republicans are not this is not true in fact either can be a fascist but any fascist state would be a left wing state. Individuals can be fascists from any political ideology.

I could start out and point that all modern fascist societies have been socialist/communist but lets just get down to what causes Fascism and how it starts with good intentions.

Part I : What causes Fascism

Lets start out with the definition

TL : DR version Fascism is when you force everyone on your side you crush opposition. So if I want to own a gun I can decide no one can own a gun.

Examples in America

IRS targets Tea Party & Libertarian groups for extra scrutiny in attempt to limit their funding to political candidates.

This is Fascism the republicans & democrats in the house are trying to oppress anyone who disagrees with them

Churches who refuse to marry a gay couple, even while it should be protected by their freedom of religion can be penalized for not adopting the states moral values.

This is Fascism people who believe certain religions should not be protected under the first amendment those in power do not want anyone following different spiritual beliefs as they do.

Big issues

These people do not believe they have done anything wrong they believe their group is correct and they just want everyone to live in a better society they think they are doing the right thing. They have completely pure intentions.

He believed he knew best and that capitalism was the problem and he could rule over everyone and decide whats best. He didn't just attempt to get people to live and treat each other better he tried to force them to live better and he ended up making everyone worse off.

Part II : What is the problem

Fascism has led to many problems in the past one of the biggest things we have seen as a result of Fascism has been the Holocaust in which people believe 6 million innocent Jews lost their lives (I believe number is a bit inflated).

People start out saying they don't like this and that and people get corrupted they find they have infinite power and abuse it and end up ruining everyone lives if you have the right to say Christianity cannot be protected then why not just also say anyone not following the states beliefs are not protected in fact lets just jail them or kill them.

Part III : How is it Left Wing

I will start off by explaining difference in left wing and right wing

Left Wing is collectivism

Basically groups are given to groups so if I said black people are being oppressed collectivists will grant rights to all black people.
Another example would be where worker unions have more rights then an individual worker
Another example would be where feminist argue woman are being oppressed
Religious freedom can only be granted to those the state decides are religious

TL : DR Groups have more rights then people my group could be granted special privileges and yours could be restricted a good example would be for me to say Police officers can own weapons but civilians cannot.

Right Wing is individualism

So if someone were to say this black person is being oppressed in an individualist society they are not a black person being oppressed they are a person being oppressed people do not belong to groups and groups do not exists everyone is given exactly equal rights.
There would be no worker unions and all the power would be given to the people
Woman would not be granted any rights as there are no rights to men or women there are only rights to people
There is no religious freedom to any group as all religious freedom is to everyone Christians are not given rules or restrictions on what they must obey/not obey people are given rules on that they can follow and believe anything

TL : DR There are no group rights there are peoples rights I do not have any freedoms you don't and vice versa. I could not say police can own weapons and civilians cannot no group can be given any special rights everyone can own a gun or no one.

Individualist societies cannot be in favor of Fascism as there are no groups there is no discrimination in an individualist society

Collectivist societies will always be trying to grant equality by limiting and granting freedoms to groups it feels need help

On economic Level

Left wing = Socialist / Communist
The state can decide what each company and worker does and what they deserve.

Right wing = Capitalist
People decide who to work for and what they want to sell and who they wish to trade with.

Just remember Fascism can happen in the blink of an eye you don't see each small piece but when you step back and take a look its clear.

Now when you see people trying to silence their political enemies and fight against other spiritual religions you should stand up for them we live in America we deserve freedom to chose as much as I believe in Capitalism I would never want some one to be thrown in jail because they believe in socialism and neither should you some one trying to pin a label on some one and telling you THIS IS YOUR ENEMY HE DOES NOT AGREE WITH US HE IS AGAINST OUR GOAL is not your friend he is your enemy he is against what you believe in.

If a republican tells me we should jail democrats or a democrat tells me we should jail a republican they both are against their own cause they wish to protect our rights and they want to restrict freedom to give us freedom this will never work we need to treat each other as individuals not as labels we are people not slaves.

Collectivism and labels are the cause of discrimination when you are labeled as a Muslim and you become a terrorist people associate your group with terrorism this is the problem with groups. I believe in the same situation you are not a Muslim terrorist you are a terrorist who happens to be of Muslim faith labels and groups are stupid we don't need them.

For you, a history lesson my friend. Every time you say left wing you’re wrong. You’re referring to something called the ‘New Left’. The entire political spectrum, left and right and such, originated during the French Revolution during the Estate Generals meeting where those opposed to the state and were for France becoming a republic were seated to the left and those who were conservative and supported the French Monarchy would sit to the right. None of the modern parties would be considered left wing in the origins of the meaning, because left wing has just become a catch all of any persons that believe in any form of equality. It was originally a label given to those who opposed a ruling class of people and believed in personal freedoms in every sense. Classical Liberalism has been adopted in modern times to describe Libertarians. The modern political landscape has been so shifted and contorted through various lenses that a history lesson will give some perspective on an argument so that you don’t look like a total buffoon. Also remember that a political spectrum isn’t just a line, once you go so far in either direction you’re essentially doing the same thing and calling it different names.

A main document of the revolution was the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen which shares many of the concepts of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. This document discusses the need for protection of the individual rights and attempts to protect from an over powerful federal government. You have your classical left and new left mixed up. Classical left ascribed to a philosophy of personal freedom, where new left ascribes to a philosophy of radical progressivism.

I am not arguing the evils of fascism or a collectivist state as both are bad. If it were likely at all I would be pro-anarchism and state abolishment, but that is just the dreams of a fevered man and an idealist. There is no abolition of the state nor will there ever be until our society is one completely free of a scarcity driven economy. There will always be a need for a state to protect individuals from intrusion of personal rights and property. There has been a drastic change in my personal philosophy on politics, but I don’t believe railing against the state in a guerrilla fashion as that achieves nothing but more turmoil.
However quoting Reagan as an example of freedom is like quoting Hitler for an example of tolerance.

You are confusing Classic Liberalism with left wing. Classic liberalism was about individual freedom and they were right wing Classic liberalism is now called Libertarianism.

Problem with Marxism is we don't have infinite resources and infinite energy to get and distribute these as well as infinite technology to give to anyone who wants an Ipad.

Even in a world with enough for everyone its not enough for Marxism it needs more then perfect.
