Read the entire thread I am 100% in favor of this update kid, I understand they are making money. I already own multiple auths of every script I farm with. And you still don't understand the fact that you do not own the software. You are paying for limited access to a piece of software. They give you the auth so you have limited access to this piece of software. There is a reason the bots are not open source and you never will ever see a single line of the coding if you are just buying auths.

Honestly, I don't mind shelling out an extra $200-300 for the required auths to continue running my bot farm, considering I pull in 200-300m/week it'll be paid off in 2 weeks time anyways.

quit your bitching. Its been like this for ages. I have multiple SW auths and multiple autominer pro auths and i'm happy to buy 1 auth per account. If you think its too expensive then legit your accounts.

 

And if people are that considered with saving money, you shouldn't even be buying from rsbots.net in the first place. It is the most popular reseller, but it is also the most expensive. I would recommend oembots.com (official nexus reseller of the actual developers). You get auths for the bots with their original names (perfs hunter as opposed to autohunter pro) and not to mention it's also significantly cheaper and it's the exact same script.

For bots like kMiner (AutoMiner Pro is a rebrand) and Slades Runecrafter (autorc pro is a rebrand) it is cheaper to buy from the official websites.

 

My ignorance? Lol you're the one who said they wont gain any money off of this. Explain how? The only reason you're in favor of it is because you already one several auths for the bots you use. Exactly. You don't understand, for people who don't have multiple its a problem. It's completely stupid that we get limited access to something we pay for.

Please go back and read the thread. I WAS STATING THAT THEIR SALES WOULD NOT DECREASE GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. THEY WILL EITHER EXPERIENCE LITTLE CHANGE IN SALES (worst case scenario) or they will experience in increase in sales. It was a hypothetical example you are obviously incapable of grasping.

Also, I don't give a hoot about people without multiple auths. Less competition for me and other people that know what they're doing.

 

Syren, you're very ignorant. What happens if RSBots even goes down? You lose your bot. If you bought it, I'm sure you would keep it. You're renting it.

 

This will probably hurt them, to be honest. I have an Autochopper NX and a AutoWoodcutter Pro, I use both at the same time and it still closes one of them. Even though I have two auths, and am using each one only once.

It's probably cause they can't compete with rsbuddy anymore and need to do whatever they can for more cash.

 

they never changed the limit it was a glitch that they never bothered to fix until now think of it as them giving you free money. anyways stop whining if you don't like how they run their bots then make your own. poor you that you need to spend 100 bucks yet you will make that much back easily in a week.

 

They should have like a 50 dollar auth that works on unlimited accounts or something of the sort.

In a way it's best that they do this. It could slow the process of the phenomenal price drop in rsgp. Now the only problem I can see is everyone will flood the free scripts. If this happens my farm goes to crap. To prevent this from happening I am trying to hire the script coder full time if not talk him into going paid.

Nexus isn't just used by a certain group, everybody uses it.. you fail to realise it is/was the most efficient client at gold farming. You sure as hell couldn't run 30 rsbuddy clients!

We paid their rip off prices because of this extra feature. To be quite frank anybody else paying those prices who only wants to run it on 1 account is stupid. There are scripts at RSbuddy which are just as good and much better priced.

They really did shoot themselves in the foot with this one. Just pure greed in mind tbh.

I could buy lots of auths and get my gold farm running again.. but why the hell would I? The price of GP right now makes it a stupid investment. By the time you pay off all your auths/membership, gold prices will be like $0.30/M.. especially if you don't run 24/7.

Nexus is clearly going to lose top spot as the most popular client!

 

lol what are you on. I can run 28 rsbuddy bots on 1 of my current computer where as I can only run 25 of nexus's.

saying everyone uses nexus is like saying everyone uses rsbuddy, epicbot, or powerbot nearly everyone uses all these sometimes multiple at a time.

You paid the extra fee because you're a dumbass then because it was never a feature that they condoned it was always against the rules but they had not implemented any way to avoid this until now which is why everyone did it and just never spoke about it on their forums.

complaining about not making your money back? too bad for you start running 24\7 you can pay for your scripts plus this months membership as well as next months with some extra on the side with their bots, quite easily I must say depending on what bot you buy obviously,

I have been coding for a good 7 years now it is actually quite hard and tedious work the 1 time payment of only 10-25 dollars still astounds me that they keep the bot\scripts up and running for such little pay. every update = hours of work. So if you don't like their prices then either write you're own script create your own client and bot yourself otherwise deal with it.

 

You realize that RSBuddy uses less computer resources than Nexus? Thus allowing a user to run more RSBuddy bots than they could run Nexus.
