    less complicated video editing software

Anyone know any good video editing software that isn't like Sony Vegas, i like sony vegas but its pretty confusing and its not really for newbies like me. All I want it for is to add subtitles to a video and add my intro what is pre made and make a custom outro for each YouTube video and Vegas is pretty hefty program to run. Anyone know any basic, possibly free so I don't have to go though the trouble of torrenting it.

Adobe Premiere is very simple for cutting and stitching video which is exactly what you need it sounds like.

As least complicated as it gets: http://www.ezvid.com/

I think I used it once, but I was looking for more features in a video maker.

I used Sony vegas and thought it was too complicated as well. Now i use Cyberlink Powerdirector 11. It is pretty straightforward but doesn't sacrifice the features.

    Good luck

In reality I might find a place that has Apple computers near you (some schools might?) and boot up iMovie (bring flash drives/external HDD). It's so simple a caveman could do it... -waits for lawsuit from Geico-

If you could find a way to get it for yourself then I would head for that. Out of everything I wish Apple would make compatible with Windows UI it would be that.

Ummm if you search around online... Some people are suggesting Sony Studio (over Vegas). It's the "light version" and supposedly simplified. Also, Adobe Premiere Elements (again simplified version of Premiere Pro)

Camtasia is some great software, pretty easy to use and if you still can't figure it out there are so many tutorials everywhere, its also a great piece of software for recording your desktop.
