Car insurance and student discounts help

Well I was wondering to be elgible for a student discount for car insuarance, requires a GPA of a 3.0 or higher. Since I am a senior, will they be checking my transcript for a total GPA from grades 9-12;My first semester in senior year just ended, or will insurance just want to see my current 12 grade 1st semester GPA(grades)

 

I think it might only be current, it wouldn't be fair if they took your marks from grade 9 when you weren't even thinking about getting a car back then...

 

I also believe it is only your current set of grades as thats how it was for me.

 

what kind of car insurance do you have?

I hope not because from grade 9-grade11, I gotten all D's and C's.
